RIP

My father recently passed away and for me this is the first parent to die. I am sad but at the same time I am very hopeful as I get a chance to be the dad.

I guess I don't know what to say other than I guess it was time to pass the mantle and title of Dad to me. I will try to take the best of what my Dad had to offer and mix in the lessons I've learned from his mistakes and give Parker Jane the father Russ always wanted to be. I'd like to think that he can see the life I have and maybe he is finally able to be at peace.
